Northern Balance awarded multi-year maintenance contract for the University of York

We’re delighted to announce that Northern Balance has been awarded a multi-year contract for the proactive and reactive maintenance of the University of York’s suite of 400 plus laboratory balances.

The contract commenced in January 2024 and encompasses UKAS and traceable calibrations, servicing, maintenance, repair, and replenishment of all balances across the University’s Biology, Chemistry, Environmental and Geography departments.

In line with the University’s focus on excellence, the routine weighing services will ensure all balances continue to perform accurately and reliably to guide their research purposes.
