Business Development Manager – Gateshead

We are growing as a company but we remain focused on providing first class service to our existing client base. In order to ensure this, we have identified the need for a Customer Account Manager who will support our current customers with any requirements they may have. You will be the key contact for numerous long-standing Northern Balance customers responsible for enhancing the customer relationship. The long term aim will be to provide any of our available services that each customer may not currently use and ensuring that we are the first company they contact whenever new equipment is required.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and Northern Balance team to implement the company’s sales strategy to achieve company objectives.
  • Produce an action plan for sales activity that is to be regularly updated
  • Gain a thorough understanding of each customers business, industry and requirements
  • Identify the key decision-makers in each customers organisation.
  • Build rapport with customer’s key decision-makers taking on a consultative approach focusing on their needs
  • Cross-sell and up-sell additional services and products
  • Execute a defined sales process while adapting to each customer’s situation
  • Understand each customers buying process
  • Manage all opportunities through the company CRM, Hubspot, and close deals to secure revenue
  • Actively make sure that customers are satisfied with our services
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using the company CRM
  • Clearly communicate customer requirements internally to ensure customer and company expectations are met
  • Ensure individual key performance indicators are met

Regional Sales Manager Role & Responsibilities:

  • Recognise, secure and manage new opportunities within the assigned territory to existing and potential customers through lead generation and account management.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with current and potential customers in order to become a “trusted advisor”, increase sales and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain CRM with the customer and own activity records.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports in line with KPI’s.
  • Prepare accurate quotes inline with Northern Balance procedures.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, managers, engineers and office-based staff to facilitate an end-to-end, joined-up approach to sales and after-sales service to customers.

Sales & Service Administrator – Gateshead

As we continue to grow, we have identified the need for a Sales & Service Administrator who will support the business as a whole, giving specific support to our sales, service and workshop departments. Working as part of a busy professional office you will be dealing with customers and suppliers on a daily basis and will therefore have the confidence to deal with queries while maintaining attention to detail.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively work with both the sales and service departments to provide administrative support, ensuring the smooth delivery of operations
  • Generate customer quotes for service work (including SLA quotes/callouts) and repairs.
  • Generate customer invoices
  • Generate customer delivery notes
  • Assist with the management of the order book for service, sales and repairs
  • Proactively contact customers to secure purchase order numbers and to organise site visits
  • Provide duty cover in the event of absence of the service coordinator
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of customer information
