Ohaus Explorer Precision Balances
Ohaus Explorer Precision balances have a flexible ingenious design allowing a user to separate the base and display for any work area.
Ohaus Explorer Precision Balances
The Ohaus Explorer Precision balances use modern features combined with the design elements to give the user unmatched functionality in a line of high-performance balances. The Precision is smart and intuitive to simplify even the most complex laboratory measurements. The Ohaus Explorer Precision has a sturdy modular design that includes metal housing and a display that can be detached from the weighing base and tower, or it can be wall-mounted.
Key features
- Fast stabilisation times
- Enhanced vibration filtering
- AutoCal™ available
- Optimized vibration filtering
- Shock, spill and splash resistance
- Accurate and repeatable results
Enhanced performance and value with the latest EX2.20 software update
The EX2.20 software update provides additional functionality aimed at simplifying and helping to achieve compliance in regulated applications and environments. Ohaus Explorer Precision balance’s advanced applications simplify even the most complex laboratory measurements. Whether it’s determining the difference between initial and residual weights or calculating the density of solids and liquids, Explorer eliminates the need for time-consuming manual calculations and data logging. The high-resolution display and innovative user interface make balance setup and application use effortless.
Enhance data integrity and transparency
- Record changes to balance settings, calibration adjustments and printed results, user-access data, and GMP/ GLP data fields
- Log 5000 records, export PDF log, and save to a USB flash drive.
Customise user management
- Assign users to 1 of 4 pre-existing groups with varying access rights
- Create 110 user accounts with admin configurable passwords and expiration dates from 30 days.
Safeguard quality and conformity
- Enable batch traceability with UE-600 GIGATEK RFID readers
- Verify Minimum Weight with an Integrated Repeatability Test
- Identify when sample is below minimum tolerance with Below-Min Weight Indicator
- Configure tolerances and monitor batch uniformity via Fill Weight Variation.
Practical Touchless Sensors
Explorer precision balances feature up to four touchless sensors for hands-free operation of zero, print, calibration, tare, automated draftshield doors and other selectable functions. Hands-free operation improves weighing efficiency, eliminates sample residue transfer and minimizes contamination.
Two sensors on the base and two on the display can be set up individually to allow for remote operations. The sensors can be set up to provide automated operation of the draftshield side doors and can be programmed to automatically open the opposite side door in order to support efficient and logical sample placement with your free hand.
Application Software
Ohaus Explorer Precision balances advanced applications simplify even the most complex laboratory measurements. Whether it’s determining the difference between initial and residual weights or calculating the density of solids and liquids, Explorer eliminates the need for time-consuming manual calculations and data logging. The high-resolution display and innovative user interface make balance setup and application use effortless.
